Multi-Engine Piston Rating (MEP)
At NFC, we offer Multi-Engine Piston class rating courses. You can do this course by itself or indeed combine it with our Instrument rating course and complete one flight test for both ratings.
The aim of the MEP class rating is to enable you to fly multi-engine piston aircraft on your own.
What's involved?
- 7 hours of theoretical knowledge Instruction including NFC Theory Exam.
- 6 hours of dual flight Instruction (2.5 hours is general handling and 3.5 hours is asymmetric operation and engine failures)
Before you start you will need:
- A valid PPL or CPL
- 70 hours of Pilot in command time
