Congratulations to Cormac - Ireland's Youngest Pilot

Age is but a number, but it's something worth celebrating, especially when it comes to achievements as remarkable as this one.

Roscommon man Cormac Hoare recently received his pilot’s licence aged 17, now making him one of the youngest pilots in the country.

Gaining his license through the NFC, Cormac says:

"I learned to fly in a Cessna 152, but I am looking to do some practice in slightly bigger aircraft. Flying is something I like to do in my spare time. There’s certainly a feeling of freedom with it, the fact that you can go down to Cork in less than an hour from Roscommon."

We wish Cormac the very best in all his future aviation endeavours.
